Two Different People Killed On Same Day In Separate Chicago Shooting

Chicago:
Two citizens of Chicago were shot dead, in different situations at varied time zones in the city. A 16 Year old boy was shot in the neighborhood of South Austin on Wednesday afternoon,and a 51 year old man was shot in the South Shore neighborhood, several hours later both were found dead.
The shooting of boy, took place around 2:30pm, in the 4800 block of West Monroe Street. He was pronounced dead on spot and was carried to the nearby Loretto Hospital, said the police and Chicago Fire department spokesman Larry Merritt. Police said in a statement that, the witnesses were not cooperating for the investigation, to collect the evidence.
At the crime scene, the police officers observed round tapping off to Monroe west of Cicero Avenue, which was covered with huge traffic in both directions. The shooting was found to happened near the gated entry to a red brick three flat apartment building on Monroe.
The gun shot shell casing were found spilling on to the grass and street. Approximately about an hour later, few people stood on the street and side walk, watching the police, who were investigating the case on site.
In another typical case a 51 year old man was shot in his chest in the 7400 block of South Philips Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood. The old man was taken in critical health condition to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was later declared to be dead, police did not find any instance on the situation of shootings
Two other People were injured in shootings on Wednesday.
In the recent happenings, a person was shot around 7:20pm in the 2900 block of the South Shields Avenue in the neighborhood of Bridgeport. The police did not have details immediately on that case also
The investigation on all the above cases were on going and the police department officials asked people to cooperate with the incident.
