According to a UK-based aviation review platform, Asia boasts the top three airports in the world. Singapore Changi Airport received the accolade of the best airport for 2025 at the Skytrax World Airport Awards, held on April 9 during the Passenger Terminal EXPO in Madrid. Following closely behind, Hamad International Airport in Doha secured the second position, while Tokyo International Airport, known as Haneda, came in third, as reported by Skytrax. This marks the twelfth time that Singapore Changi Airport has been honored with this title. In addition to this, it has earned distinctions such as the World’s Best Airport Dining, the World’s Best Airport Washrooms, and the Best Airport in Asia.
Yam Kum Weng, CEO of Changi Airport Group, expressed his satisfaction in receiving this acknowledgment, emphasizing that it inspires their ongoing efforts to enhance the traveler’s experience. He also extended his gratitude to both the passengers for their support and the broader Changi Airport community. "As air travel expands, we eagerly anticipate welcoming guests to discover the wonders of Changi Airport," he remarked.
