VinFast India officially introduced itself at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 by presenting the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. During this event, the Vietnamese company kept the specifics of the vehicle launches under wraps. However, this has changed as the company revealed that the cars will be launched on September 6. It is important to mention that reservations for the electric vehicles began on July 15, but the dates for deliveries have not yet been shared. According to previous reports, the VinFast VF7 SUV will be available in three variations named Earth, Wind, and Sky. Moreover, the vehicle will come in six different colors: Jet Black, Desat Silver, Infinity Blanc, Crimson Red, Zenith Grey, and Urban Mint, which enhance the unique design that represents the brand. Notably, the front features daytime running lights that extend across the width of the vehicle, meeting in the middle to create a V-shape that emphasizes the brand's logo.
The VinFast VF7 will be offered in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options, each powered by a 70.8kWh battery pack. The two-wheel drive model has a 204 hp motor at the front, while the all-wheel drive version includes an additional motor at the back, providing a total output of 350 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The WLTP estimated range for the VF7 with all-wheel drive is 431 km, while the front-wheel drive version has a range of 450 km. The VinFast VF6 showcases a modern design featuring LED daytime running lights that resemble eyebrows at the front. This LED strip lowers as it approaches the ‘V’ logo in the center. The grille is designed with a honeycomb style, featuring large air intakes and black trim. At the back, the VinFast VF6 includes an LED taillight strip that matches the front design. Additionally, the sloping roofline enhances its smooth look. This electric SUV is powered by a 59.6 kWh battery that drives a 204 hp motor located on the front axle. Although no range has been provided by ARAI, it is said to have a WLTP-rated range of 480 km.
