A woman went into a fit of rage during an argument with her boyfriend and bit-off part of his ear. The 31-year-old woman was arrested by the cops on aggravated assault charge.

Danielle Nebelung, a resident of suburban Detroit, was arraigned of aggravated assault charge in Shelby Township District Court on Monday. The judge fixed her bail bond at $10,000 bond and the hearing of the probable cause has been scheduled for March 17.

The 36-year-old boyfriend of Nebelung said that they had an argument on Saturday in the early hours after she arrived at their home in Macomb Township, in Macomb County, 25 miles north of Detroit.

The couple were fighting over rent, when the woman bit-off part of his ear, reported WXYZ-TV.

According to the victim, Nebelung first punched his head, then got on his back and bit him. The boyfriend's bit-off ear flesh was recovered by Paramedics, but it cannot be reattached.

During the court hearing Nebelung, however, said her boyfriend was the first one to attack her. But he denied hitting her at all.

He asked for more serious charges on Nebelung as he says that she has left him scarred for life.
